DAY 1

Welcome to Tbilisi

Arrival in Tbilisi. Airport pick up and transfer to the hotel. Settle into your hotel.

DAY 2

Full Day Tbilisi Walking Tour

  • After breakfast, we will embark on Tbilisi sightseeing tour. Start at Metekhi Сhurch and the monument of Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi.
  • Visit Narikala Fortress to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Walk down to the district of sulphur bath houses and pass by the only mosque in Tbilisi.
  • Stroll through the Sharden area, full of narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine tasting bars, and souvenir shops, and breathe in the history of Old Tbilisi.
  • Also visit Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and the famous Rezo Gabriadze Theatre’s clock tower, before crossing the Bridge of Peace to Rike Park. 
  • Also visit Sameba Trinity, Chronicle of Georgia 
  • In the evening get together for a cultural meet and greet dinner to try out Georgian cuisine.

DAY 3

Road Trip to Caucasus Mountains

  • Pack your bags the previous night because we’ll leave for our road trip to the breathtaking Caucasus mountains.
  • We’ll stop at several beautiful spots along the way, including the Jinvali Reservoir and Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble, before finally reaching Gudauri.
  • Check in and a free evening.
  • Optional activities: Paragliding at Gudauri Viewpoint

DAY 4

Hike to Gergeti Trinity

  • Post your breakfast, head over to Gergeti Trinity Church - It’s an iconic point in Georgia engulfed by the majestic mountains.
  • For those interested we will be hiking to the church. It is a short 2 hour easy round trip hike and definitely a must do
  • Head back to your ski resort for enjoying an evening in the mountains.

DAY 5

Reach Kakheti- The Wine City

  • After breakfast, start your road trip to Kakheti - the wine region of Georgia while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Caucassus mountains on the way.
  • Check-in to your hotel in this beautiful town. Relax in the stay and walk around the town.

Day 6

Wine Tasting in Kakheti

  • After breakfast, get ready to drench yourself in wine in Kakheti - Georgia’s very own wine city. We’ll taste different kinds of Georgian wine while immersing ourselves in the traditional winemaking process, and maybe we’ll get to participate in its harvesting as well.
  • Continue to Gremi architectural complex, a 16th century royal residence and the capital of Kakheti Kingdom. We will pass through the beautiful landscapes of vineyards and wine-producing villages.  

Day 7

Guided Tour of Sighnaghi

  • Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading to Sighnaghi, known as the City of Love. This charming hilltop town, once a key stop on the Silk Road, is surrounded by historic walls with 23 towers and offers stunning views of the Alazani Valley, Georgia’s famous wine region.
    Next, visit Bodbe Convent, the legendary burial site of St. Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century. Since 1889, it has also functioned as a nunnery by decree of Tsar Alexander III.
  • In the afternoon head back to Tbilisi and check-in to the hotel.
  • Optional activity - Go relax at the Sulfur baths after an exhausting day of walking.

DAY 8

Bye Bye Georgia

  • All good things must come to an end, sadly! Post breakfast head out on a tour of Tbilisi. Visit the dry bridge market for some last minute shopping
  • Meet for a farewell dinner for one last time and head to the airport for returning home.

Exclusions

Airfare: International airfare to/from Tbilisi is not included.

Visa cost is not included. We will assist in the process as needed.

Additional Meals: Meals not mentioned in the itinerary are to be covered by the traveler. Any alcoholic drinks during meals or otherwise are not included unless specified.

Emergency Evacuation: Costs incurred due to emergency evacuation or deviation from the tour for personal reasons.

Optional Activities: Any activities outside the set itinerary, like additional sightseeing or optional tours.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy:

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled. In such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same
  • The status of this trip will get confirmed on 5th May basis minimum sign ups. In case the entire group trip gets cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances or lack of participation, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • The booking amount is non-refundable if the trip is not cancelled

Taxes

You need to pay 5% GST and 5% TCS. TCS is refundable in your income tax statement, for which we will share a TCS certificate with you on completion of the trip.
