DAY 1

Guwahati to Umiam Lake

  • Arrival at Guwahati Airport
  • Start your road journey to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya
  • En route, stop at the serene Umiam Lake, a man-made reservoir surrounded by pine forests — perfect for your first photo stop!
  • Reach Shillong by late afternoon
  • In the evening, stroll through Police Bazaar, a buzzing local market offering handicrafts, street food, and vibrant culture

DAY 2

Waterfalls and Wonders

  • After breakfast, set off for Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth
  • Visit:
  • Nohkalikai Falls – India’s tallest plunge waterfall
  • Seven Sisters Falls, offering panoramic valley views
  • Local caves, viewpoints, and waterfalls as time permits

The cool mist, roaring falls, and winding roads make this drive unforgettable

DAY 3

The Root Bridge Trek

  • Lace up for a moderate trek through lush forest trails to Nongriat village
  • Witness:
  • Single-Decker and Double-Decker Living Root Bridges – natural wonders crafted over centuries by Khasi tribes using living tree roots
  • Cross hanging bridges, descend steep steps, and bathe in natural pools surrounded by jungle
  • This is a true once-in-a-lifetime experience that’s both peaceful and exhilarating

DAY 4

Healing sessions by the riverside

  • Begin your day with a visit to the stunning Mawsmai Caves, known for their limestone formations
  • Then drive to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village
  • Explore bamboo watchtowers, walkways, and spotless lanes
  • Meet locals who’ve preserved eco-friendly living for generations
  • Finally, head to Shnongpdeng, a hidden gem near the Bangladesh border known for its pristine Umngot River

Camp by the riverside and enjoy a bonfire under the stars (weather permitting)

DAY 5

Dive into Adventure

  • Wake up to the sound of the river and start your day with thrilling water sports:
  • Boating
  • Cliff jumping
  • Swimming in the glass-like waters of the Umngot River
  • Later, visit Krang Suri Waterfall, one of Meghalaya’s most beautiful yet less crowded waterfalls — perfect for a refreshing dip or simply relaxing

Drive back to Shillong for your final night

DAY 6

Goodbye Meghalaya

  • After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati

Trip ends with amazing memories, friendships, and a heart full of nature

Exclusions

Travel - Travel to and from your home to Guwahati by flight or train is not included

Additional Meals: Meals not mentioned in the itinerary are to be covered by the traveler. Any alcoholic drinks during meals or otherwise are not included unless specified.

Emergency Evacuation: Costs incurred due to emergency evacuation or deviation from the tour for personal reasons.

Optional Activities: Any activities outside the set itinerary, like additional sightseeing or optional tours,

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy:

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled. In such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same
  • The status of this trip will get confirmed on 1st August basis minimum sign ups. In case the entire group trip gets cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances or lack of participation, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • The booking amount is non-refundable if the trip is not cancelled
